Immature Stages of Phengodidae

Detailed information on immature stages of Phengodidae is being acquired. Clausen (1940) did not that very little was known regarding the habits of this family. However, it is believed that the American species of Phengodes prey on myriopods. In some species, both larvae and adults have light-producing organs.
